Dec. 18 - Coffee Cup & Canvas @ The Panacea - 12:30 - 2:30 PM
Not everyone likes to go out in the evenings. Not everyone drinks alcohol! I am changing up the Paint & Sip scene a bit and am now offering paint events during the day at The Panacea Coffee House in Waynesville!
Come alone or grab a friend to have a coffee date while you paint! If you are not into coffee or caffeine, their tea selection is wonderful! Come hungry if you'd like, and you can have lunch and paint!
With my free form painting guidance, I will show you step by step how to paint the painting of the month. You will leave with a beautiful piece of artwork created from your wrist.
This is not paint by numbers. This is a blank canvas so you can let go to the flow of yourself and those around you. Although we follow the exact same painting instructions, our creations come out completely different! We are all different in many ways. We have different energies, minds, feelings and emotions going into our canvas. With all of this combined, it creates different paint strokes. To each is own! That is one of my favorite parts about teaching these events...Seeing all the different paintings at the end!
You are encouraged to use your creativity when it comes naturally to you, but this class is for 100% beginners who have never painted or picked up a paint brush in their life. So if you feel like you have ZERO creativity, this is for you! I have had many people tell me they have never picked up at paint brush and they were very nervous, but by the end of the event they had a completed painting that they were proud of.
This is not a class to get good at painting. This is an event to provide a space for you to come take time for yourself and enjoy your time with those around you for a couple hours.
Being a mother, I understand that sometimes it's hard to take time for ourselves. I want to provide you with a space to do that without having to go out in the evening time. Sometimes the night life at home is where it's at!
The sound of painting at the Panacea takes me to a special place in my mind. All who knows this sweet coffee house has their own relationship and story with it. This place means a lot to me in lots of different ways, but one way I will share is it is where I began my paint events journey!! Coming back to the root of the first time I ever taught an event. I had six random people show up! The rest is not history, but a beautiful story I can see when I close my eyes. I can't wait to express into canvas with you all.

I am excited to paint with you! We will be painting & getting in a zone for approximately 2 hours!
Please give yourself time to arrive, choose your seats by putting an apron IN the chair, order food/drink or whatever you would like to do before we begin.
All supplies will be set up and ready for you, and I will begin to pass the paint out at 12:30 or a little after. :) You will be painting with acrylic paint on a blank canvas… this is NOT Paint by numbers, but i promise you, you will enjoy it and come out with Something that looks like mine.
I show you STEP-BY-STEP what to do, but I encourage lucid flow. This is YOUR painting and ultimately an expression. This is for only fun while you sip on a beverage you enjoy!
If for some reason you cannot make it, I need at minimum a 24hour notice. You may apply your credit to a future event! If it is not a 24hr notice the tickets are non-refundable. This is because I plan who signs up and most of the time have to turn away other people who want to paint if the seats fill. ♥
